Steamed Beech is a species of beech hardwood found in Central Europe. It is common practice on the continent to steam the timber which turns it to a reddish-brown tone, hense the name Steamed or Pink Beech. It has a pale brown to reddish-brown appearance with a typically straight grain and a fine even texture. Typical uses include internal joinery, furniture, wood turning, domestic flooring and internal door casings.
